The mill has a long history of producing cigarette and other fine papers
since the early 1900’s. The mill has three paper machines manufacturing cigarette, base tipping,
conventional plug wrap and booklet papers. The mill also produces textile fiber pulp for
both internal use and external sale. Schweitzer-Mauduit acquired the mill in 1998.
